EVO’s men’s gymnastics team traveled to Knoxville Tennessee December 4-5 for the 2021 Region 8 Elite Invitational.  This was their first out of state meet for the season and they dominated the competition, securing their spot as one of the top rated men’s gymnastics programs in the country.  EVO athletes also secured about 30% of the Elite Team Qualifier spots – coveted positions based on overall performance. Congratulations to all of the hard working athletes, coaches and families that make it all possible.  We look forward to seeing what these teams do for the rest of the season!

• Level 8 ( 6 total spots) Jakson K
• Level  9 ( 6 total spots) Sammy H & Hunter S (1st alternate)
• Level 10 ( 12 total spots ) Jaden B, Garrett S, Alex K, Ben A

Level 10: 

• Jaden B:  1st all around, rings, high bar; 2nd on vault & parallel bars; 3rd on floor & pommel
• Garrett S: 1st on floor, 1st on pommel, 2nd on rings, vault, parallel bars, high bar and all around
• Alex K: 2nd on pommel; 3rd on parallel bars, rings & all around 
• Ben A: 1st all around, floor & rings; 2nd on pommel and high bar
• 1st place team

Level 9: 

• Sammy H: 3rd on floor & parallel bars 
• Hunter S:  1st on floor & high bar; 2nd on pommel, parallel bars & all around 
• Louis L: 3rd all around, pommel & high bar 
• 3rd place team

Level 8:

• Torrin: 2nd on floor; 3rd on pommel & high bar 
• Jakson K: 1st all around, floor & pommel; 3rd on rings, parallel bars & high bar

• Mike C: 1st on pommel & rings; 3rd on floor, vault, high bar and all around  

Level 5:

• Mason K: 1st on pommel; 2nd on floor; 3rd on vault & all around
• Owen T: 1st on pommel & vault; 2nd on rings; 3rd on high bar & all around
